Committees

The board of directors is responsible for overseeing the club’s operations, ensuring it meets its goals, and upholding its values. They provide strategic guidance, manage financial decisions, and support the development of programs that benefit members and the broader community.

To plan and run clinics for members (discounted) and non-members as a means to promote player development.

To promote the well-being of our members and to promote safe play. This includes oversight of the maintenance of the 1st aid kit and AED at Deacons Park.

To organize and promote single day ladder events for our members at various play levels.

To organize and promote competitive play with other local clubs during the spring, summer and fall.

To increase awareness of DSPC in the state of Delaware and to connect with local businesses for potential sponsorship opportunities.

This committee helps to welcome new members, manage membership data, and promote our club to further grow our membership.

To keep members informed up club happenings via a monthly e-newsletter.

Help build community and connection within the club. The Social Committee will plan and host fun gatherings/seasonal celebrations. Ideal for members who love bringing people together and creating a welcoming atmosphere on and off the court.

Promoting connection with our membership by posting news and other happenings of DSPC on Facebook.

To identify opportunities to host tournaments, and plan and run them.

The Website Committee will help maintain and update the club’s website with event info, news, photos, and resources.
